ILIFA Honey, sourced from the pristine grasslands and forests of South Africa, is made from 100% pure natural honey produced by African bees that freely roam and collect nectar from wild plants unique to Africa, following the natural life cycle and rhythm of nature.

ILIFA honey has been verified as pure natural honey through SGS laboratory tests, including "C4 Plant Sugar Content Analysis" and "Full Honey Stable Carbon-13 Isotope Analysis." It contains no plant sugars, and the test results fully eliminate any possibility of ILIFA honey being synthetic.

The rarest honey, exclusively produced in South Africa

Our honey comes from the southernmost region of South Africa, the Western Cape, which is also the origin of the Cape Flora Kingdom, one of the world’s six major plant kingdoms. The Western Cape is home to unique floral species, with over 2,000 native plant species thriving in a completely pollution-free environment, where wildlife and plants coexist harmoniously. Our honey farms are located in a pristine, remote area over 200 kilometers away from the city, surrounded by wildflowers, plants, and trees.

Bees collect nectar from various flowers, and as a result, the flavor of the honey produced is completely different each time. Therefore, every ILIFA honey has its own unique taste, aroma, and texture.

Without any artificial interference, our bees follow their instincts and the rhythm of the climate. Every year, they collect the purest nectar during the first two weeks of spring, when the weather is clear.

The beekeepers deeply respect the important ecological role of the bees. They only harvest the excess honey from the hive, ensuring the bees have enough food for themselves and the environment they nurture. They never feed or lure the bees with sugar, nor do they restrict their foraging range (no netting). Therefore, we do not mass-produce or compromise quality, but instead, share the limited gift that nature provides each year with more people.

Our honey is "raw" honey, which is unfiltered and cold-processed

Unlike many other honeys, our raw honey is neither heat-treated nor filtered. After harvest, it is simply strained and bottled, preserving the purest, most natural form of honey. This allows the distinct flavor of the flower nectar to be fully retained.
